Subcontractor Agreement

Accutech requires that all subcontractors (plumbers, electricians, etc.) agree to the following terms, in writing, before they begin work on any remodeling project.  Ask any contractor or kitchen and bath design firm you choose whether or not they hold their subcontractors to these high standards.

Professional Conduct

þ We will not smoke inside the customer’s home.

þ We will not use foul language on the jobsite.

þ We will not use alcohol or drugs on the jobsite.

þ Our radios will be played at a reasonable noise level, so as not to disturb the customer.

þ We will respect the client’s property, including telephones, bathrooms, parking spaces, etc.

Job Standards

þ All our work clothes will be neat and clean.

þ The job mess will be kept to a minimum.  At the end of each day we will place all trash in receptacles and the site will be left “broom clean.”

þ While on the jobsite we will abide by all OSHA safety regulations.

þ We will arrive at the customer’s home at a reasonable hour and either complete the job or put in a full day’s work.

þ        We will inform the project manager of any changes to the agreed work schedule, at least one hour before the original report time.

Licenses & Warranties

þ We have all the appropriate licenses required for our trade.

þ We carry both workmen’s compensation and general liability insurance.

þ We will warranty all work and materials supplied for one full year and perform any callbacks or warranty work within two weeks of the request.
